Why Maison One

Monaco is full of businesses doing genuinely excellent work and saying almost nothing about it. A thirty-year-old wine merchant with a story nobody's heard. A boutique with a loyal following and no idea how to grow it. A restaurant, a gallery, a brokerage, all quietly good at what they do, and all leaving their own best material on the table.
That gap is why Maison One exists.
I spent years building marketing and communications from the inside of a hospitality brand, the kind of work where you learn fast that strategy means nothing if it doesn't translate into something a guest actually notices, or a journalist actually picks up, or a room full of the right people actually walks into. Monaco's independent businesses need that same translation: not another generic marketing plan, but someone who can find the story that's already there and give it a stage.
That's where Maison One starts and where it leans hardest. Two things, in particular: getting a business's story in front of the people who'll carry it further, through PR and communications; and building the moments, a launch, a tasting, an evening that gets talked about, that no amount of advertising can buy. Strategy and positioning work sits underneath both, but it's never the whole conversation. The point is always something real happening in the world, not a deck.
Every engagement starts the same way: a close look at what's actually working, what's quietly not, and what's sitting unused. From there, the work is built around the business, not a template, in scope, in timeline, in budget. Monaco rewards precision over scale, and that's exactly how Maison One is built to work.
This site, and this blog, will grow alongside the clients I'm lucky enough to work with, case studies when I can share them, honest thoughts on what's working in Monaco's marketing landscape, and the occasional dispatch from wherever the next good story turns up.
If you run something in Monaco that deserves to be better known, I'd like to hear about it.
